WebFred Colling (23 November 1897 – 15 April 1973) was an English footballer who made 16 appearances in the Football League playing as a forward for Darlington and Durham City. He also played non-league football for Darlington Railway Athletic, Shildon and Chopwell Institute . Football career [ edit] WebLoughlin was born in Darlington, County Durham, [1] where he worked on the railway and played football for Darlington Railway Athletic. [3] After a trial with Newcastle United, in which he scored for the club's North-Eastern League team, [4] he signed as a professional in November 1924. [5]
