Elgato facecam not showing up in obs

WebAug 30, 2014 · I went and downloaded OBS and got the webcam ready but when I tried to get the Elgato on it too, it wouldn't show up in the devices. I have a 64bit Lenovo Desktop PC with windows 8.1 and I am using the 32bit version of OBS. I tried both the 64bit and the 32bit versions but none of them come up with the Elgato. WebJust unboxed the Facecam, downloaded the Camera Hub software, and it's saying "Connect your Elgato Camera. Please connect an Elgato Camera to use Camera Hub".... while it IS connected. Am I missing some sort of driver? is it DOA lol. Can't find anything in support. It doesn't require any additional drivers.
