The keys seem to stick because I am able to skip part of the start up, and get past the "Keyboard " screen (The one with the familar blue background like in the original FF7 on the ps1).

WebI saw this as well when I tried to install those mods. I think what I did was 1. uninstall the steam ff7 game then 2. go delete the ff7 files from the steam folder 3. Reinstall ff7 from steam then 4. install the mod . Edit: note: I didn't have any files worth keeping in my ff7 folder so that's why this worked well for me.
